MEZZO VUOTO [2021]
Mezzo vuoto delves into the transparency and characteristics of mouth-blown glass, focusing on its quintessential form: the drinking glass. A small family of six distinct glasses is generated around different, subtle aspects of drinking, to playfully interact with the temporal, ephemeral, intangible dimensions of a glass of water. The collection was developed in collaboration with the skilled Tommaso Colesanti, glassblower based in Bolzano and Rome.
[The collection is meant to look plain and undetailed at a first glance. With a second, closer look the details emerge]
